Dr. Suresh is the first to conceptualise and implement a community-based and volunteer-driven palliative care as against institution-based care. In response to a growing demand for palliative care, Dr. Suresh Kumar sees the need for healthcare to go beyond standard institutions and medical facilities. He has designed a volunteer-led care system that provides an alternative to the rigid and ineffective medical institutions of the region. Dr. Kumar’s approach moves services from institutions and hospitals to neighborhoods and homes in order to effectively address the social, psychological and medical dimensions of care.

Dr. (Prof) Sudhir Kumar Rawal

Dr. Sudhir Rawal is one of the leading Uro-Genital surgeons in India, with a special interest in Robotic Surgery. He has more than 30 years of experience in Genito Urinary Oncosurgery. He routinely performs procedures such as Radical Prostatectomy, Radical Cystectomy, Radical Hysterectomy, RPLND, and complex urinary diversions like continent pouch and neo bladder. “Pitcher’s pot Ileal Neobladder” one of his innovations which finds its place in leading urology publications. He is the first Uro Gyne surgical oncologist in North India and has been headed the department since the inception of the Institute. He first opened Retropubic Radical Prostatectomy in the private sector in India. Besides this, he has done the maximum number of Radical Prostatectomy, Radical Cyst prostatectomy Neobladder, Robotic VEIL, and Robotic RPLND (Post Chemo) in the country.

Dr. Simon Pradeep Pavamani is a distinguished medical professional with over 20 years of experience in the field of radiation oncology. Dr. Pavamani possesses a wide range of professional competencies in radiotherapy, including patient immobilization, simulation, and various advanced techniques such as IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, and Brachytherapy. Dr. Pavamani leads the Quantitative Imaging Research and Artificial Intelligence Lab within the Radiation Oncology Department, overseeing various research initiatives focused on radiomics-based tumour phenotypes, treatment response prediction, and imaging biomarkers. His extensive research contributions include authoring and co-authoring numerous research papers, as well as presenting his work at both national and international conferences.

Dr. Nikhil S Ghadyalpatil is a Senior Consultant Medical Oncologist and hemato-oncologist at Yashoda Hospitals, Somajiguda, with over 17 years of experience. He is an expert in Oncology/Cancer treatment, as well as clinical research and medical education, and has treated over 5000 national and international cancer patients. He has Professional Membership of ASCO, ESMO, ISMPO, ICON. His areas of interest include Solid Tumors: Breast, Lung, Gastro intestinal cancers and Head and Neck Cancers

Dr. Jyoti Bajpai

Dr. Jyoti Bajpai is a medical oncologist and at present posted as the Professor of Medical Oncology, at Tata Memorial Hospital in India. She did observership in “Sarcomas” from Johns Hopkins Cancer Center, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Her main interest includes breast cancer, sarcomas, and gynecological cancer management. She is also having a keen research interest with 38 publications to her credit. This includes 14 original articles as first/corresponding authors in international and national Journals. She received the best poster award in the International Society of Paediatric Oncology Congress (SIOP), Toronto in 2014, and her project ranked highest in Australia and Asia Pacific Clinical Oncology Research Development (ACORD) Workshop. Dr. Jyoti is a part of many major international and national trials at Tata Memorial Cancer Center. She is currently affiliated with the Indian cancer congress, Indian Musculoskeletal Society, Association of Palliative Care, ISMPO, and ICON.

Dr. Vamshi Krishna M

MD, DM (Medical Oncology), MRCP(SCE)

Director & HOD - Medical Oncology, AIG Hospital

Dr. Vamshi Krishna is a Medical Oncologist and has an exceptional track record. He completed his MBBS from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry. Post which, he got his MD in Internal Medicine and his DM in Medical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
Furthermore, during his PG Residency, he was awarded the Dr. Krishnaswamy Memorial Prize in Internal Medicine and the N Abdoul Cader Memorial Prize in Neurology. Additionally, he was the University Topper in the Fellowship Program organized by Homi Bhabha National University. Dr. Vamshi Krishna is well versed with Bone marrow transplant, Cytogenetics, Radiotherapy and Palliative care.

Dr. P. Balachandran Menon

Dr. Balachandran Menon has performed and assisted over 2000 liver transplant surgeries. He had Vascular Surgery Training from Shree Chitra Tirunal Hospital, Trivandrum and later Surgical Gastroenterology training (MCh) from Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences. An able academician, Dr Balachandran also worked in KMC Manipal, SVIMS and NRI Medical College, Guntur where he was the Head of Surgical Gastroenterology.
He went on to do Liver Transplant fellowship from Samsung Hospital, Seoul and Sir Gangaram Hospital, Delhi. He has been a Senior consultant in Liver Transplant from 2010 and has worked in Sir Gangaram Hospital, Medanta the Medicity and was later Director and Head of liver Transplant at Yashoda Hospitals, Hyderabad. His main interest is Laparoscopic Hepatectomies and Laparoscopic Donor Hepatectomy. He has over 25 peer reviewed Research publications to his credit.

Dr. Sapna Nangia is a highly proficient clinical and radiation oncologist with versatile experience spanning across cancer management, application of precise radiation techniques, research, academics, public education and awareness. She has a rich experience of more than 33 years as a doctor and 24 years as an oncologist. She has been trained for Proton therapy by observerships at top institutes in the United States of America. Dr. Nangia has been an observer at highly reputed institutions of the world. Dr. Nangia been an observer at Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care, New York, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, Moores Cancer Centre, San Diego, earlier.

Annekathryn Goodman, MD, MPH  is a Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School and a Fellow of both the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Surgeons.  She has a full-time practice in Gynecologic Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital and is an affiliate of MGH Global Disaster Response and the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. In addition to board certification in gynecologic oncology, she is certified in acupuncture, and has completed training in both pastoral and palliative care. She received a certificate in Clinical Ethics and Health Policy from the Center for Practical Bioethics, University of Kansas Medical School. She received a certificate in Global health and MPH in Health Policy and Management from New York Medical College.
